14U SOFTBALL IS PER NFHS RULES. 43’ PITCHING DISTANCE. SPIKE CLEATS ALLOWED.

NEW RULE FOR ALL 14U TEAMS - Optional bat around and free substitution.

• 6 innings is a regulation game
• There is no run limit per inning
• Mercy Rule 15 runs after 3 innings 10 runs after 4

14u Baseball Rules

14U BASEBALL IS PER NFHS RULES.

a. BBCOR -3 BATS MUST BE USED FOR HOUSE AND COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS. Wood bats are allowed assuming they meet the same specs as BBCOR -3.

i. NEW RULE FOR ALL 14U TEAMS - Optional bat around and free substitution.  Once a pitcher has been taken off the mound they cannot return to the mound for the remainder of that game. (Baseball Only)

ii. 52’ PITCHING 80’ BASES UNLESS USING HIGH SCHOOL FIELD APPLY.

iii.  Pitchers are allowed to pitch 3 innings per game.  

iv.  Metal spikes are allowed.

v.   6 innings is a regulation game.

vi. No run limit per inning

vii. Mercy Rule 15 runs after 3 innings 10 runs after 4
