Tyler Hanson

Tyler was a 3 year starter for the Cobras from 2011-2013.  In 2013 he had a 10-1 pitching record, was named the regional MVP and led the Cobras to the American Legion World Series.  

Tyler played 4 years with the Minnesota Gophers from 2014-2017, becoming one of the backbones of their pitching staff.  In 2017 he signed a contract with the Colorado Rockies and was assigned to the Boise Hawks single A team.  Brett Baldwin, the area scouting supervisor for the Rockies, said this of Tyler; "He's a competitor, he's got good makeup, he throws a lot of strikes, and I think his stuff is going to be able to play at the next level".  


Bo Hellquist

Bo played first base, outfield and pitcher in his 3 seasons (2011-2013) with the Cobras and was a member of the 2013 team that went to the American Legion World Series.  

Bo played 4 years at the University of Minnesota Duluth(UMD) from 2013-2016 and became their ace the last two seasons and in 2016 helped the Bulldogs to a first place finish in the NSIC.

In the summer of 2016 Bo signed a free agent contract with the Minnesota Twins and played in the Gulf Coast League where he posted a 2.25 ERA.

In the spring of 2017 Bo signed with the Sioux Falls Canaries.


Dan Motl

Dan was a 3 year starter and mainstay in the outfield for the Cobras from 2010-2012.

Following High School Dan played 4 years at the University of Minnesota from 2013-2016 primarily as an outfielder.  In his senior season he was selected to the All-Big Ten Second Team and led the team with 42 runs scored and 19 doubles.

In the fall of 2016 Dan signed with the Sioux Falls Canaries.


Brandon Peterson

Brandon played 2 seasons with Cobras from 2009-2010, as an infielder and starting pitcher.  He led his teams to a better than .600 winning percentage. 

After High School played 2 years at Des Moines Area Community College from 2011-2012 before transferring to Witchita State.  He played 1 year (2013) at Witchita State becoming their closer and earning all MVC (Missouri Valley Conference) and MVC Newcomer of the Year honors. 

At the end of this his junior year he was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 13th round and became a relief specialist and closer for various minor league teams in the Twins and Angels organizations from 2013-2017.  During that time period he struck out 300 in 226 innings of work and in 2014 was named Twins Minor League Relief Pitcher of the Year.  

In the summer of 2017 Brandon signed with the St. Paul Saints.
