Wright Fund Scholarship Award

The WRIGHT FUND SCHOLARSHIP will be awarded annually to a District # 6 youth hockey player. The number of scholarships awarded and the amount of the scholarship will be determined annually by the amount available in the fund.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have participated in a Massachusetts District #6 hockey program for at least three years.
- The applicant must expect to receive a high school diploma in the spring from an accredited secondary school.
- The applicant must have been accepted and plan to enroll in an institute of higher learning.

Buddy and Kathy Lafleur GSL Hockey Scholarship

GSL is offering Hockey Scholarship(s) for graduating seniors or first year students to be awarded in May to GSL players going on to College, Technical School, Community College etc.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1) Must have participated in the GSL in Squirt through Midget level for not less than four years including 1 year in their Bantam or Midget seasons, applicant does not have to be participating in any hockey program at the present time.
2) Must receive or shall receive a high school diploma from an accredited secondary school.
3) Have been accepted and plan to enroll in an institution of higher learning beyond high school.

FMC Skaters Scholarship

The FMC Skaters Scholarship program was developed in 1993 to provide financial assistance to ice sports participants and recreational ice skaters that demonstrate personal excellence on and off the ice. The scholarships are awarded to ice hockey, figure skating and recreational skaters in June of each year.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1) All applicants must be New England residents and skate at FMC arenas.

Massachusetts Hockey Sportsmanship Award

The Sportsmanship Scholarship has been established by Massachusetts Hockey to recognize and celebrate the principles of good sportsmanship epitomized by the spirit of respect, dignity, courtesy, responsible behavior and fair play, not only in sports, but in all of life’s endeavors.
MASSACHUSETTS HOCKEY OFFERS THREE $2,000 STIPENDS TO BE AWARDED IN JUNE TO CURRENT OR FORMER YOUTH/GIRLS’/WOMEN’S HOCKEY PLAYERS.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1) Must have participated in a Massachusetts youth/girls’/women’s hockey program for at least five years, the applicant does not have to be participating in any hockey program at the present time.
2) Must have received, or will receive, a high school diploma from an accredited secondary school, or a high school equivalent degree.
3) Must have been accepted and plan to enroll in an institute beyond high school.
