MARA Machine Pitch Baseball is intended to teach baseball fundamentals in an enjoyable learning environment. Both offensive and defensive fundamentals are stressed as these basic skills lay the foundation for future development in the coming years.

Points of emphasis are:

  • Hitting a pitched ball
  • Base running / proper sliding technique
  • Fielding grounders & pop fly(s)
  • Proper throwing technique

The strength of MARA Machine Pitch is the wealth of baseball experience, and teaching abilities of the many volunteer coaches who live in the area. We are lucky to have so many knowledgeable baseball parents, and friends living in our local community.

Most importantly, MARA Machine Pitch is about learning baseball, fostering teamwork, and having fun.
