50/70, Junior Select and Big Diamond Baseball 2021
(formerly Junior/Senior Baseball)
50/70 Baseball:
Division of 13-year-old baseball players (12-year olds can be dual rostered with a major team).
Woburn teams are entered into the District 13 MBDL travel league.
Towns included in the league are Wilmington, North Reading, Stoneham, and Lynnfield.
All games are played on the full 50/70 Diamond under Little League Rules.
Games will be typically be played on Thursdays and Sundays.
The 50/70 program offers a transition for players between the standard Little League field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior/Senior/Big League field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance, and 90-foot base paths).
The regular season typically runs from the beginning of April to early June including playoffs.
Junior Select Baseball:
Division of 13 and 14-year-old baseball players.
Woburn teams are entered into the District 13 MBDL travel league.
This is an ability-based program and try-outs will be held. If your player is not selected for this team they will have the opportunity to play on the Big Diamond team
Towns included in the league are Wilmington, North Reading, Stoneham, and Lynnfield.
All games are played on the full 60/90 Diamond under full Big diamond rules.
Games will be typically played on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The regular season typically runs from the beginning of April to Mid June including playoffs.
League works closely with the High School program and offers Summer Baseball Opportunities for all Junior Select Baseball Participants.
Big Diamond Baseball:
Division of 13 - 16-year-old baseball players.
Woburn teams are entered into the District 13 MBDL travel league.
Towns included in the league are Wilmington, North Reading, Stoneham, and Lynnfield.
All games are played on the full 60/90 Diamond under full Big diamond rules.
Games will be typically played on Saturdays and Sundays.
The regular season typically runs from the beginning of April to Mid June including playoffs.
League works closely with the High School program and offers All-Stars and Summer Baseball Opportunities for all Big Diamond Baseball Participants.
