Sportsmanship

The Harvard Soccer Club emphasizes good sportsmanship starting at an early age. The foundation for our teachings are four documents:

• Player's Pledge - Describes expected behavior of players and is signed as as indication of their understanding of and commitment to those behaviors.
• NVYSL Zero Tolerance Bylaw - This document describes the mandatory behavior of coaches, spectators and players towards the referee during a game.
• Coach's Pledge - This NVYSL form is required to be completed by at least one of the coaches for each team prior to being issued that team's NVYSL certified roster.
• HSC Coach's Player Safety Pledge - This form is required to be completed by at least one of the coaches for each team prior to the start of the season.
