INTERMEDIATE DIVISION
Age and Gender
The Intermediate division is for boys in grades 9 through 12. Players who roster on a school team (Freshman, JV, or Varsity) cannot also participate in the CYO Intermediate Division. Players are encouraged to try-out for their school team but should also register to play CYO. A player who is going to try out for the school team can defer payment during the registration process.
Playing Time
The Intermediate division is a competitive division with no playing time guarantee.
Practice and Games
Most teams have one practice per week. Games are played on Sunday afternoons at Bedford High School.
Coaches
All coaches must be ASEP certified and attend Protecting God’s Children seminars in order to coach. Background checks are performed for all those involved with the CYO league.
Parishioners/Non-Parishioners
All “active” parishioners are automatically selected to the teams. Two non-parishioners per team are allowed to play on each team and may be subject to a tryout.
Tournament Play
All participating teams can compete for the "City" Title. Teams that meet CYO roster requirements also has the opportunity to qualify for NH State and New England Regional tournament play.
