BAC Rec FUNdamentals Program

Grades PK-8

Season Starts: April 29

Back by popular demand, we are excited to offer the 2019 Bedford AC Spring FUNdamentals program! This is a 5 week program designed to provide an opportunity to develop fundamental soccer skills in a fun environment. Players from PreK through Grade 8 are welcome to play. The program will include 5 weeks of instruction (weather permitting), working with professional trainers. Small sided games and situation drills will be used to improve all aspects of a player’s game. Players are trained individually and in small groups to develop the essential skills of soccer such as dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting. Sessions will conclude with a scrimmage so players can implement the skills worked on in a game situation. Space is limited, so sign up today.

Dates: April 29 to June 3 - 5 weeks (No sessions Memorial Day, May 27)

Schedule: Players in PreK through grade 5 may choose which session to sign up for.

Location: Swenson Field - Jenkins Rd

Price: $55/player

Required Equipment for all players:

- Soccer Cleats (no baseball cleats allowed)

- Shin Guards

- Mouth Guard (if players have braces)

- Eyeglass Strap (for players who wear glasses)

- Water bottle

- Bug repellant/Sun block

All players will receive a program t-shirt at their first session.

NOTE: This program will not have assigned teams. All players in a session will meet together on the assigned day/time. Please plan to arrive early as we will be starting at the scheduled time.

All players must be Bedford residents.

Players may choose 1 timeslot in the appropriate age group. Days/times are subject to change due to enrollment numbers.

​In the event of incliment weather or poor field conditions, sessions may be cancelled. We will attempt to send an email announcement by 3 PM if sessions are cancelled but changing weather and lightening may necessitate a last minute cancellation.
