SENIOR LEAGUE BASEBALL 
                                                    

• Senior Recreation baseball is for 10th -12th graders, and consists of recreational baseball for all players that sign-up.  Our teams play against teams from surrounding communities, so there is a travel component.  There are no tryouts.  Cost is $200.
   
• Mickey Mantle baseball is for 10th graders (16 year olds). This is the most competitive "travel team" option for 10th graders. Players must be registered with EBA to tryout for the Mantle team.  In addition to the $200 registration fee, there are additional travel fees.  2010 Tryouts for 10th graders (Mickey Mantle) will be at Braemar on Sunday April 25 and Sunday May 2 from 2:45 - 5:00 pm
  
   
• American Legion/Senior Babe Ruth baseball is for juniors and seniors (17 -18 year olds). American Legion and Senior Babe Ruth in 2009 are open only to players born on or after January 1, 1991. Players born in 1990 are not eligible.   When players are trying out for the American Legion team, they may be placed on the Senior Babe Ruth team, also for juniors and seniors.  When registering for baseball, there is not a separate option to select Senior Babe Ruth baseball, rather, players interested in playing on a Senior Babe Ruth team should select the Legion program.  Players must be registered with EBA to tryout.  In addition to the $200 registration fee, there are additional travel fees.
  2010 Tryouts for 11/12th graders (Legion/Sr Babe Ruth) will be at Braemar on Sunday April 25 and Sunday May 2 from noon - 2:30 pm
  

Note: Players that try-out for, but do not make the American Legion team roster, the Senior Babe team roster, or the Mickey Mantle team roster will automatically be placed on a Senior Recreation team roster.
