Edina League Structure  
Players from age 10 through 12 (completing Grades 4-6) are eligible for Youth Baseball. The league structure consists of a Major League  for 11 and 12 year olds (current 5^th and 6^th graders) and a Minor League for 10 year olds (current 4^th graders).   

All Youth Baseball players will receive a complete uniform package with hat, jersey, pants, belt and socks included in the additional registration fee. 

Any players who try-out for, and make a Green team will be assessed an additional fee to cover tournament entry fees which is detailed our in the specific league overview.

Youth Baseball Bat Requirements:
Bats used in the Youth Baseball can be no longer than 33" and no bigger than
2 1/4" in diameter. 

Please read the individual League pages before registering.   

Age groups are defined as follows: 

For 10 year olds, players must not turn 11 before May 1 (Minors - completing 4th grade))
For 11 year olds, players must not turn 12 before May 1 (Majors - completing 5th/6th grade)
For 12 year olds, players must not turn 13 before May 1 (Majors - completing 5th/6th grade)

Players who are young for their grade may play with their grade, however players who are old for their grade may not exceed the age requirements.

See 7th - 9th grade for information on Leagues at the 13-15 year age group. 

Tryouts/Grading
Players must be registered with EBA to participate in grading/tryout.    Please see the appropriate program pages ( Major League  or  Minor League ) for date/time specifics.    

Volunteer coaches are the key to a successful youth baseball program. We are excited to provide league specific coaches training designed around materials to aid practice planning and skill development.
