To Coaches, Thank you for all you do for our program.  Below are the steps needed to comply with both USA Hockey and Mass Hockey in regards to coaching certification.

Before starting, please CLICK HERE for an overview as well as a lookup tool to see progress made in prior years

Step #1 Register for USA Hockey: (Due prior to taking the ice)

https://www.usahockeyregistration.com/login_input.action

Once you get your registration #, please forward your confirmation e-mail to the CYHA at

Step #2 Have your CORI screening done: (Due prior to taking the ice)

https://www.mahockey.org/backgroundscreening

You may do the above as a 'guest' or you may create an account.

Step #3 Complete the online safesport training module: (Due prior to taking the ice)

https://www.usahockey.com/safesporttraining

The SafeSport Training and Refresher Training are each valid for one (1) season begining 2019. Note: if you took the training during the 2018-19 season, it is still valid for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.

Step #4 Complete the online age-specific module: (Due prior to taking the ice)

https://www.usahockey.com/agespecificmodules

These age specific modules do not expire. If you coached before and did the module, you are all set for that level. But if you move up a level then the next module is required.

Step #5 Register and attend a coaching clinic (Level 1, 2, 3 or 4)(Due by December 31st, 2019)

 https://www.usahockey.com/coachingclinics

Scroll down to view catalogue of courses - date, time, location, etc.

Note Levels 1, 2, and 3 initially requires attending a physical class. Level 3 may be recertified twice online prior to a Level 4 being required.

CYHA will reimburse you for any out-of-pocket expenses you incur.

Send a copy of your receipts to John Murphy (Treasurer) at
