Dulles Little League (DLL) is a non-profit organization serving over 1,000 families each year throughout most of the Ashburn, VA area. DLL offers a fun and competitive baseball experience for boys and girls ages 5 through 16. Our baseball programs focus on the development of baseball skills, sportsmanship, and a love for the game of baseball, all in a fun, family-oriented community.
DLL is affiliated with Little League International, and it is a member of Virginia's District 16. Our league is funded entirely by registration fees, concession profits, and sponsor donations, and is operated by dozens of volunteers. Thank you to all of you who make this league what it is!

posted 04/15/2010 Since DLL is run by volunteers, we do not have a central office. If you need to check for a lost item, or if you need to return a found item, please stop by the Crittenden concession stand.
The Crittenden concession stand is usually open on weeknights whenever two or more games are being played at Crittenden. It is also usually open on Saturdays from at least 10:30am until roughly 2pm whenever two or more games are being played at Crittenden. The concession stand is closed on Sundays. Please understand that the concession stand schedule is subject to change based on the DLL schedule, volunteer availability (to run the concession stand), and field/weather conditions.

posted 04/12/2010 The following applies to DLL games in the Single A, AA, AAA, Majors and Juniors divisions.
Starting with the 2010 Spring season, there is a new Little League directive requiring that there be an adult official/umpire on the field for every Little League game. If there is an adult umpire assigned and present at a game, the requirement is met. However, if one or two Junior umpires (younger than 18) are assigned to a game, then the Home team is required to provide an adult umpire assistant/volunteer to stand on the field throughout the game.
These on-field umpire assistants will NOT be required to serve as traditional umpires, and they will not be paid for their time. Their duties will consist of the following:
- Participate in the pre-game meeting at home plate with the Junior umpires and team managers.
- Once the game has begun, they should stand in foul territory behind 3rd base.
- They should monitor and help enforce weather delays and cancellations, noting that the field must be cleared for 30 minutes following a sighting of lightning or the sound of thunder.
- They should help ensure the safety and proper behavior of all spectators and participants, noting that team managers are ultimately responsible for their team’s spectators and participants.
- They should consult with the Junior umpires and/or team manager as appropriate before taking any action against a participant or spectator who is acting inappropriately. This includes attempts at intimidating Junior umpire calls, especially balls and strikes.
- If the Home team is unable to provide an umpire assistant, then the Visiting team should provide one. The game can not start or continue unless there is an adult official/umpire on the field at all times. Team managers and coaches are not permitted to serve as umpire assistants.
- Direct any questions related to umpire assistants to

DLL makes every effort to determine and post field status by 4:15pm each weekday, and by 8:00am each weekend day. This is done after considering Loudoun County's field status which is also determined at those same times each day.
If it is before 4:15pm on a weekday, or before 8:00am on a weekend day, a field status of "n/a" means that field status has not yet been determined.
If it is after 4:15pm on a weekday, or after 8:00am on a weekend day, a field status of "n/a" means that those fields are a "practice-time" or "game-time" decision determined by the team manager(s) and/or umpires.
Please use good judgement when deciding whether or not to proceed with a practice on a field that is marked as "n/a", particulary on the infield. Keep in mind that the elementary school fields do not get nearly the same maintenance attention from the County as do some of the other fields such as Crittenden, Farmwell and Tillett.
Given that most DLL Board members are also coaches, please understand that timely updates to field status based on weather that occurs after 4:15pm on weekdays or after 8:00am on weekend days may not always be possible.

posted 03/15/2010 Many email programs will block email that fits the criteria that they define as Spam or Junk email. While this can sometimes be helpful, mail that you might be expecting from DLL or our online service provider could get accidentally blocked by your email program's spam filters.
If you were expecting an email from DLL prior to whitelisting us, and did not receive it in your Inbox, you may want to check your Junk, Spam and/or Bulk mail folders to see if it was delivered there by your spam filter.
To prevent this from happening, you will need to put DLL on your safe list of addresses to guarantee that you receive our emails. Some email programs refer to this as "whitelisting" or a "safe or trusted sender list." If you cannot find this option in your email program, or do not know how to add us to your list, please review your email program's help documents for more information.
Some programs require just the domain name to be placed in the Address Book. In that case, you would need to add: leagueathletics.com and dulleslittleleague.org.
If you need to add addresses, please try the following:
The asterisk at the beginning allows any address from DLL to be placed in your whitelist. If this does not work, the most frequently used individual addresses are:
