As of today March 14, 2020, WAA is indefinitley postponing all practices, games, meetings and events. This includes hitting sessions at off site facilities.
Monroe County has declared a "State of Emergency". We encourage all of you to stay informed with Webster Central Schools, Monroe County Health and NYS Health guidlines and restrictions.
By now I am certain our School District is meeting, and will be sending out information soon. Once we know the path our District is taking we will send out more information.
At this time we do not know what this means for our 2020 Spring Season. As stated earlier, WAA will closely follow the policies of our School District. We will not be addressing fiscal questions until we know more, which may take several weeks.
WAA Board members will continue planning for our Spring 2020 Season, Our first games are not scheduled until May 2. In the event that Opening Day is pushed back we will still do our best to provide an opportunity for kids to get out and play, which is something our community will need after we get thru this.
