Pre K Sessions begin Saturday, September 6th and will run every Saturday through October. Sessions will be held at Glastonbury High School (Field #13). Glastonbury High School is at 330 Hubbard Street. Enter the High School at far right entrance (closest toButtonball Lane) – stay to your right and watch for signs! Sessions will be 50 minutes long. All pre K players are asked to wear cleats and shin-guards and bring a size 3 ball and water bottle to every session. Looking forward to a wonderful season of soccer fun!
Fall Travel clinics are starting on September 5th. This is a great opportunity for your players to receive professional training and extra time with the ball. If you are interested in becoming a travel soccer referee, log on to http://ctreferee.net and follow the certification instructions. If you certify now, you can start work in the fall. Entry Level Referees must be 13 years old by June 30, 2014.

Are you a family struggling with the additional cost of soccer equipment this season? Hartwell Soccer in conjunction with the Town of Glastonbury Parks and Recreation and Glastonbury Social Services has put together a sports equipment program. Gently used equipment is being made available free of charge to players who need assistance with getting the right equipment to play soccer this season.

Leave a message with your phone number, name, grade that the child is in (for soccer ball size), and their shoe size. A call to confirm that the items are available will be made and a time to pick the items up will be arranged. Pick up will be at the Teen Center at 2143 Main Street, Glastonbury (Academy Building)
