Haverford Blaze Lacrosse

Haverford Blaze Lacrosse serves boys from Kindergarten through Eighth grade and girls from Fifth through Eighth grade who reside in Haverford Township School District.

We have a house league for boys and travel lacrosse programs for boys and girls. See the descriptions below and you can find more information on our team pages.

Boys In-House Programs:
No tryouts necessary for our in-house programs, just register to reserve your spot.

K-2 Clinic: a place for young players to learn fundamentals. Includes age-appropriate skill-building drills and scrimmages.
This program requires full protective equipment.

3-4 Grade House League: team-based intramural program for players to play games with modified rules to promote the fundamentals.
This program requires full protective equipment.

Boys Travel Programs:
This travel program is for residents of Haverford Township School District who are in the 4th through 8th grades (although some advanced 3rd graders may try out as well). We offer one travel team at the 3/4 grade level and several travel teams at 5/6 grade level, and 7/8 grade level that play against other township programs within our SEPYLA (South) division. We have evaluations that we ask all players to attend, typically in mid/late November. There are NO CUTS, all players are placed on teams based on ability and where they have the most potential for success.
This program requires full protective equipment.

Girls Travel Programs:
This travel program is for girls who are in the 5th through 8th grades who reside in Haverford Township School District. We offer several travel teams at the 5/6 grade level and 7/8 grade level that play against other township programs within our PAGLA (Central West) division. We have evaluations that we ask all players to attend, typically in late November. There are NO CUTS, all players are placed on teams based on ability and where they have the most potential for success.
This program requires full protective equipment.

Girls In-House Programs:
Haverford Township Parks and Recreation Department offers a comprehensive instructional program that combines skill development, game strategy and league play for girls who are in the 2nd through 4th grades. For more information please visit their web site.

All Boys program evaluations will take place at the Haverford Reserve Turf (9004–9024 Parkview Dr Haverford PA 19041)

Boys A (7th/8th) Sat 12/4 10-11:30am

Boys C (3rd/4th) Sat 12/4 10-11:30am

Boys B (5th/6th) Sun 12/5 10-11:30am

Boys C (3rd/4th) Sun 12/5 10-11:30am

 

 

 

Joe and Luke McCallion High Intensity Clinic

We are excited to announce that Blaze Lacrosse will be hosting a high intensity lacrosse clinic featuring Joe McCallion (UPENN/Whipsnakes) and Luke McCallion (UVM/Cabrini College) this Sunday 11/14 from 10AM - 12PM at the Haverford Reserve Turf. The clinic is open to boys players currently in grades 4-8.

We are thrilled to have Joe and Luke running our clinic given their impressive achievements at the high school, college, AND professional ranks. Joe earned All-Ivy league accolades at the University of Pennsylvania and currently plays for the PLL professional team (Whipsnakes LC). Luke earned USILA All-American honors at Cabrini College and was a member of their National Championship team.
