Welp, snowing again
by posted 04/21/2021

Guys,

It's snowing again.  Last time, I promise.  We just won't allow anymore cancellations, after today.  But seriously, we're canceling tonight's practice.  There will be practice tomorrow night (Thursday) and Friday.  I hope this is the last time.

If you have reviewed the schedule below, you see we are 2 weeks away from playoffs and should know by now that we are contenders for the League Champion spot.  The only game we have lost was against who I predict will be number 2, and we were significantly outnumbered.  It is very important, to the extent it is possible if not convenient, to show up to practice and games. We do not have the manpower this season to run practices and games short of players and,  practice is how we coordinate game choreography, as well as hone skills, that make us better individually and as a team.  Absences effect everbody, the whole team.  If transportation or other solvable issues arise, and you want assistance, please reach out.  We'll certainly do what it takes to get everyone to every practice and game for the rest of the season.

If there are any other issues or concerns, please reach out.  Otherwise...

Practice Cancelled
by posted 04/19/2021

All indications are that we are gonna have a weather event right about practice time.  It doesn't look like practice would be successful.  Fingers crossed for Wednesday.  Dan G is trying to get the fields for Thursday.  If he can, we will add a Thursday practice this week.

As always, questions, concerns, or absences, reach out to me.

Thanks,

Coach Matt

News and more

Hi guys,

Great news, Jeffco should be going back to level Blue Friday.

Today's practice will be cool, so dress warmly.  If weather is a threat, please be prepared for practice to end early.  Predictions had precipitation expected in the middle of practice.  I don't want the boys cold AND wet.

This weekend has games on Saturday AND Sunday.  Remember, Saturday's game is at Red Rocks Baptist Church on Morrison NOT at Denver Christian.  Sunday's game is at BCHS.

Sunday is also Picture Day.  Please be prepared to hang out after the game for the photoshoot.

As always, lemme know anybquestions, concerns, or regrets on attendance and remember to fill out your Covid forms,

Greetings G5 Families,

This Sunday, 4/18, will be our Picture Day at BCHS.  We'll take them after the game to capture all that hard play in photos.  Please expect to be delayed in leaving a bit to accomodate the photoshoot.  We hope to have the full roster present.

Thanks,

Team Pictures
by posted 04/12/2021

Greeting All,

I am trying to nail down a date for pictures.  There is short time, and we have many absences past and projected absences future.  I am looking at a game day, and one with full attendance.  After talking with the photographer, we have two dates in mind.  4/18 is ideal.  4/25 is the next best option.  It would give us an opportunity if 4/18 doesn't work out. Plus, I have been informed by the photographer that the sun will be better at the time of the 4/18 date.

Please let me know as immediately as you can,

Coach Matt
