posted 02/09/2010 The Kickers SC would like to congratulate Lauren Hoppensteadt from our U18 Premier Girls squad who recently committed to play soccer at Eastern University in Illinois. Lauren has been with us since U15 and has regulary attended Showcase tournaments around the country. She plays her Varsity High School Soccer at Oswego East.
Well Done Hoppy from all of us at the Kickers SC.

MICHELLE CASTANEDA, Goal Keeper on our Kickers SC U23 Women’s team and a freshman at the University of Wisconsin Parkside (Division II) has been selected to be a part of the U-20 Mexican Women’s National team. Currently this team is preparing to participate in the 2010 CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship that will be held in Guatemala City, Guatemala (January 20th to 30th). In the 2010 CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship Michelle will have the opportunity to play against the National Teams of USA, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba and Guatemala.
MICHELLE CASTANEDA will join the Mexican Women’s National team on December 27th, 2009 in preparation for the upcoming World Cup.

posted 11/20/2009 The Kickers Soccer Club is proud to announce that two of our high school boys players have been named to the Chicago Fire All-Academic Team. Sam Duffield (Marmion Academy) and Jomar Mendoza (West Aurora) earned this outstanding recognition. There are only 22 players selected for this team across the state and 2 of them are members of the Kickers Soccer Club. Requirements for the All-Academic Team sponsored by Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association require all candidates to be seniors, carry a grade point average of a B or higher and must be involved in at least two other school or community activities or sports.
Congratulations Sam and Jomar on your outstanding accomplishment and continued best wishes in all that you do.

posted 09/21/2009 Congratulations to the U12 Girls who made the Finals of the Great Lakes Soccer Tournament this past weekend. The team were beaten on a Penalty Shoot out by Legends SC after a lightening delay and torrential downpours.

posted 08/24/2009 Congratulations to our U16 Premier Girls who won the 2009 Back to School Classic in Elgin this past weekend. The Girls went throught the group phase with a record of 2-1-0 and won the final vs Stars SC 2-1 with goals from Meredith McEniff and Jessica Saffell.
Well Done to all the Girls, a tremendous effort from you all. They are pictured below with their Head Coach, Richard Parfitt.

posted 08/24/2009 Congratulations to our U14 Girls Blue Squad who reached the Final in the 2009 Back to School Classic in Elgin. The Girls went through the group stages with a 2-0-1 record then beat Tsunami Black in the semi finals 6-0. The Final vs Tsunami White went all the way to penalties after the game finished 1-1 after extra time with Tsunami coming out victorious 3-1.
Great job Girls, a tremendous effort from you all.
