Welcome to the 2009-2010 basketball season! This will be the place to hear the news on what is going on with the Girl's Basketball program.

This year we have Varsity and Junior Varsity teams headed up by an almost all new coaching staff. The new head Varsity Coach is CJ Sealey, who comes to Ballard with a lengthy resume. Her Assistant, Sunny Gulberg, was an assistant for Seattle Prep last year. Maggie Wilkins heads up the JV squad. Destiny White is assisting Maggie. Many of you may remember Destiny from last year where she was the JVC coach. Destiny is the only returning coach to Ballard this year.

The girls have all worked extremely hard since last spring and are anticipating an exceptional year! They have been playing together and have consistently been beating some good teams. They played for the championship in the summer league resulting in a tough loss, but still a second place finish nonetheless. They finished 3rd in the fall AAU league Gold Division. They have been dedicated to eachother and to working hard in preparation for a good year at Ballard!
