WELCOME TO THE DARIEN YMCA FALL 2009 FIELD HOCKEY PROGRAM!

99.9% of correspondence this season will be via email and/or website. Please become familiar with our website. This should provide you with all the necessary information.

COMMUNICATION/ EMAILS:
Anyone wishing to receive emails at additional email addresses (ie: work email, dad's email, caregivers email,etc.) or not receive emails at a specific email address, please email me with the  information and I will remove or add emails to your child's database.

SCHEDULES:
The preliminary team schedules are posted. These schedules are subject to change due to weather related cancellations or field availability. Please note start date and times. Players should arrive at the field 15 minutes before start time as we start on time. No stragglers!

STICKS!!!!!!
If you missed our June stick sale and are in need of a stick (or just have questions), please email me at: 

We can arrange a convenient time to get you set up with the right stick.

FYI: I receive sticks at discounted prices from my vendor. I then forward the discount onto my players. I have sticks for all levels and age groups. If I do not have it in stock I can get it in 2 days. I provide this service simply for the benefit of my players so they are not overpaying for a stick, buying a stick that is too long, too short, too heavy or too light for them. It also gives the players an opportunity to feel the sticks before purchasing them (if attempting to purchase on line).

If you are not sure if your stick is the proper size, email me and I can check it out for you.


WELCOME!
I just wanted to again welcome everyone to the best program in Darien. Your daughter will learn the fabulous sport of field hockey and hopefully have a ton of fun while doing so. We have a wonderful coaching staff and are very much looking forward to the fall.
