The RECREATIONAL and TOT Seasons for 2010-2011 will open on Sunday Sept 12th.  

Practices for U8-U14+ will begin the week of September 6th.   

Coaches will be notifying players of team placements and practice schedules the first week of September.

Salem Youth Soccer has teamed with the New England Revolution to help raise funds for our league.  If you are going to a game, buying season tickets, or doing something special like planning a birthday party, buy your tickets here and SYSA will get a portion of the ticket price back.

Salem Youth Soccer is searching to fill several volunteer positions!!!   If you are interested in filling any of these postions, please contact the president of SYSA at .     Please volunteer... we need your help to continue to make the league a success!! 
 
Recreational Registrar: 
Person is responsible for coordination of all recreational registration activities, including managing the database, verifying documentation, overseeing/organizing the registrations events, and  coordination with league officials to place players.  Attendance at board meeting is optional accept during registration times.   A board discount is provided for this position. 

Field Manager/Designee:  Person is responsible for working with league and town to decide if fields are open or closed during inclement weather.  This volunteer works directly with the Vice Presidents of both our recreational and travel/EDP divisions to finalize field availability each day when weather is an issue.  Person will update our voice recording and notify webmaster when fields are closed.  Person will also serve as the contact for the Town of Salem should a team violate the closed field ruling.  Attendance at monthly board meeting is not required.  Person will assist with field maintenance issues or equipment repairs. 

Fundraising Committee:  We are looking for a group of volunteers to assist SYSA with future ideas and projects related to fundraising efforts.   If you are interested in working on the committtee, chairing a specific fundraising event etc..  please let us know.
