Spring 2023 Season Registration is Open!
Registration for the Milford Youth Lacrosse Spring 2023 Season for Boys and Girls in Grades 1-8 is now open!
Registration is on a first come/first serve basis.  Spring 2023 registration will close on December 31st, 2023 or when the program level becomes full.

Important Please Read: The registration process has changed for our upcoming season as both of our programs (Girls and Boys) are now with Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse (formerly MBYLL).  We have a new registration portal and will soon have a brand new website!!  These changes will help to streamline many things this season but most importantly our registration process.

This season, you will only need to register your player once via our registration portal where you will pay for both the Milford Youth Lacrosse Registration ($200) and the non-refundable Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse Player Membership Fee  ($40).  There is no longer a need to visit the league's site to purchase player membership/insurance separately.  It is now done all in one place.

Registration Instructions can be found here.

Please direct registration questions to Amanda Lind  .

Shoulder Pads

A new safety rule begins January 1, 2022 with a requirement that all SHOULDER PADS meet a new NOCSAE ND200 requirement. Product compliance with ND200 reduces impact forces and thus the risk of commotio cordi (cardiac arrest due to a blow to the heart area).

This rule standard was put into place on January 1, 2021 for GOALIE CHEST PROTECTORS.

CLICK HERE to read up more on the NOCSAE ND200 standard.

What does registration pay for?
We often get some questions on what exactly the registration fees cover, so we thought we'd share those details with everyone.

Q: What does registration pay for?
A: Registration fees cover:
  • Affiliation dues (Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse Town Fees)
  • Referees
  • Game / practice equipment (goals, balls, goalie equipment, long shafts for u13 boys, first aid kits, coaches equipment, line painting supplies)
  • Lacrosse Balls - one of our largest expenses each year.
  • Coaches certification and continuing education programs
  • Indoor practice time and skills sessions
  • Field time (parks & recreation department fee and turf rental fields)
  • Jamboree fees
  • Scholarships
  • Fiscally prudent reserves
All of the above is primarily funded by your child’s registration fee.  Our annual fundraiser, business sponsorships help to supplement registration fees, but the majority of the funds come from registration.  Some of the above costs go up every year, but MYL works to stabilize costs over time.  Overwhelmingly our success is driven by the level and commitment of parent volunteers. If you like your experience consider some small volunteer opportunities. Every bit helps.
