CT Ice Impacts Local Youth Hockey

Please join ECHO in celebrating the inaugural CT Ice Collegiate Hockey Tournament.

This event is a celebration of all things ice hockey in the the Nutmeg State.

In January 2020, SNY will present the inaugural Connecticut Ice Festival -- a first of its kind, weekend hockey festival showcasing youth and amateur hockey from across the state. The multi-day, multi-discipline ice hockey festival will include mites, squirts, pee wee, prep school and high school -- culminating in the first-ever college tournament featuring Connecticut's four NCAA Division I Men's College hockey teams. Connecticut Ice, will take place Friday, January 24 through Sunday, January 26 at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT.

SNY's Connecticut Ice Festival will include an action-packed weekend of hockey both on and off the ice. The Festival will include a Mite Cross Ice Jamboree for 6-8-year olds, a Youth Tournament, with the Championship games in three divisions (Boys 12U and 10U and Girls 12U) being played at Webster Bank Arena and a High School and Prep School Rivalry Game (featuring the best schools in the state). And lastly, the Collegiate Cup -- a two-round, four-game tournament for state bragging rights featuring Yale University, Quinnipiac University, University of Connecticut and Sacred Heart University -- that will be televised live on SNY.

Off the ice there will plenty of family fun, with interactive games and experiences as well as seminars for youth players and their families in conjunction with USA Hockey.

Tickets for the inaugural SNY Connecticut Ice Festival are on sale now HERE

In short: Connecticut Ice is a three-day festival starting Friday, January 24th celebrating the state's unique relationship with hockey

and culminating in a ticketed two-day collegiate tournament between Yale University, Quinnipiac University, Sacred Heart University, and the University of Connecticut

Please view the attached video and below information for purchasing tickets.
