Welcome to Southern Utah Lacrosse (SULAX). We are a growing organization that includes opportunities for all ages to learn and develop lacrosse skills. This year our focus is to grow the number of teams and play more games locally.  SULAX will still have a competitive traveling team for each age group and gender. These teams will be selected through tryouts.

If you are a veteran player or if you have never held a lacrosse stick, we have a place for you in SULAX. Lacrosse develops hand-eye coordination, increases cardio, and strengthens muscles. Along with the physical benefits, SULAX promotes good attitudes on and off the field. We expect our players to be excellent examples of good sportsmanship.

Please contact us via email at soutahlax@gmail.com for more information or to be added to the mailing list. SULAX sends out e-mail blasts for clinics, registration, and tournaments. We look forward to seeing you on the field.

High School/Middle School Season Update
To all of our Coaches, Team Managers, Parents, and Players,

We hope that all of you are staying well during this very challenging time in our country's history. Everyone is facing uncertainty with how long this social distancing will last, and when many of us will be able to return to work. We understand the financial pressure this puts on everyone.

We were hoping to continue our season in mid-April, but unfortunately, it looks like we will not have access to any fields during the months of April and May. We are still exploring the possibility of holding an end-of-season jamboree in June.

We are currently reviewing our expenses for the season: fields & lights, referees, and administration. We are also waiting to see what credits, if any, we might receive from the Parks & Recreation departments.

In light of this, the Board has decided to offer a partial credit for any dues paid toward the 2021 season. The only exception are graduating seniors who will not be returning to play next season. They will receive a partial refund.

We want to thank all of you for your patience, dedication and support to SNLA and to each other during these challenging times.

God bless and be well,

The SNLA Board

COVID-19 Update
The Southern Nevada Lacrosse Association is committed to ensuring that the health and safety of our players and their families is our highest priority. We must do our part to help slow the spread of this disease. In light of the announcement made by Governor Sisolak and CCSD, we will be following their lead and suspending all trainings, practices, and games until April 13th due to the COVID-19 virus.

We plan to continue our season, and will be cancelling games until April 13th at this time. Our goal is to resume play once we receive the all clear from the Governor that it is safe to do so.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

In the meantime, we encourage our coaches and players to follow all CDC recommendations.

Be well, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the field soon.
