2018-2019 Travel Team Coaches

Griffin Youth Hockey Association is pleased to announce coaching staff for the 2018-2019 season for our travel hockey program.

8U Travel - , Assistant Coach Ryan Ericson
10U Travel - , Assistant Coach Chris O’Korn
12U Travel - , Assistant Coaches George Dodds and Andre Bessette
14U Travel - , Assistant Coaches Bruce Wolanin and Marc Sauer

Griffin runs best when everyone gets involved and we welcome new and previously certified coaches. Anyone interested in getting on the ice as an assistant coach should speak to their team’s head coach and/or to make their intentions known.

All coaching staff must complete an online, leveled video training series provided by USA Hockey and participate in a classroom and on-ice training day taught by USA Hockey certified instructors. Additionally all on-ice volunteers must pass a background check, become Safe Sport certified and be registered with USA Hockey. Your head coach or Bruce Wolanin can assist you in moving through the process so you are ready to skate when the season begins.

Thank you to the individuals who have already committed their time and energy to a successful 2018-2019 season, we’ll see you on the ice!
