| Thanks for a great fall season |  | | The fall soccer season is now complete and preparations are already beginning for the spring season. We hope that you and your children had a great experience this fall and are looking forward to the spring season.

HEADLINES  | | | | | | | | GDYSC February Break clinic | | | | by
posted 01/16/2012 Groton-Dunstable Youth Soccer Club is sponsoring a 3-Day soccer clinic the Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday of February break (Feb 21, 22, 23) at the Lawrence Academy’s Stone Athletic Center.
There will be two sessions:
U6 & U8 from 8:30 to 10:00 AM
U10, U12, & U14 from 10:15 AM to 12:30 PM

The different ages in each session will be divided up as appropriate.

Sessions will encompass a progression from skills based warm up through to plenty of scrimmage time at the end.

Players of all abilities, even those just starting out, are welcome.

Great, affordable way for the players to get some ball touches and exercise before the spring season.
Darren Marshall, from NEFC, will be running the clinic assisted by 2 other coaches from NEFC and some of our very own Boys State Champs from the High School. I have met a lot of coaches over the years and Darren is one of the very best.
Fee is $26 for U6 & U8, and $37 for U10, U12, & U14 per player. Sign up at www.gdysc.org. (Click the big orange REGISTER NOW button at top of the home page, then find “February Break 3 Day Soccer Clinic“ for the session you want.)
Players should wear shin guards and non-marking sneakers, or indoor soccer shoes, and bring a ball & water bottle.

Regular Registration
Regular registration for players and volunteers for the spring soccer season is now open and will run until December 31, 2011. Players or volunteers can be registered by clicking on the Member Center on the left hand navigation bar of the home page at www.gdysc.org.
Player registrations must be paid in full at the time of sign-up using a credit card or PayPal account. Player registrations that are not paid in full by April 1, 2011 will not be placed on a roster until their outstanding balance is settled.
Late Registrations
Registrations received on or after January 1st, but before February 16th, will be charged a $25 late fee. In addition, the registered player will be placed on the waiting list and will only be placed on a team if there are available spots. Registrations received on or after February 16th will be charged a $50 late fee and those players too will be placed on the waiting list and only placed on a team if there are available spots. The additional late fees are needed to cover costs that the club will incur from the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League for late roster changes or late team registration fees.

Refund Policy
Any refund request received after April 1st will not be honored. Refund requests prior to those dates in their respective seasons will be subject to a $15 processing fee. This fee represents the sum of the non-refundable fees that we have to pay to Mass Youth Soccer Assn, the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League and PayPal.
Eligibility
Eligibility for the different age groups are based on birthdates that fall between the following dates:
U6: 8/1/2005 - 7/31/2007
U8: 8/1/2003 - 7/31/2005
U10: 8/1/2001 - 7/31/2003
U12: 8/1/1999 - 7/31/2001
U14: 8/1/1997 - 7/31/1999
HS: 8/1/1992 - 7/31/1997
Uniform Ordering
If your child is in need of a uniform for the spring season, they may be pre-ordered and paid for by credit card on the online uniform ordering site at www.gdysc.org under the Member Center tab on the left hand navigation tab on the home page. For those who do not pre-order, it is possible to purchase uniforms at Greco Graphics directly. Greco Graphics is located at 491 Main Street in Groton and they are open Tuesday through Friday from 10 – 6 and on Saturday from 9 – 1. Purchases at Greco are payable by check to GDYSC only, as they cannot accept cash or credit cards for GDYSC items.
If your child will be playing U6 or U8 in the spring, a reversible Maroon/White GDYSC jersey is the only uniform requirement. If your child will be playing on a U10 or older team and does not have a uniform or needs a larger size uniform, they will have to purchase the new jersey, black shorts and black socks. Jerseys and shorts can be ordered on-line while socks must be purchased at Greco Graphics.
